The main advantage for owners of old iPhones in upgrading to an iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max or one of the iPhone 16s is to be able to take advantage of Apple Intelligence capabilities. It is impossible to list everything that artificial intelligence is capable of doing here since its functionalities are numerous. Apple Intelligence notably offers a tool called Correction, which allows you to remove unwanted objects (or people) from a photo, as allowed by Samsung’s Galaxy AI. The apple brand is once again promoting its creation in a humorous advertisement… except for the little cat concerned.
The Correction tool in the spotlight in this new Apple ad
Apple releases a new ad for the Apple Intelligence Fix tool on its YouTube channel. A man can be seen taking a photo of his partner and her cat, then remove the animal named Garrett from the photo using the Correction tool. Proud of his prowess, he shows the photo to his partner. “ I always knew you hated Garrett », she then says. The cat himself seems quite upset by the situation.
Fortunately, the man just has to press the back function to put the cat in its place as if nothing had happened. As you will have understood, it is better to avoid erasing people or animals with the Correction tool and then showing them the result, otherwise it will hurt them.

Remember that Correction not only allows you to remove living beings from your photos, but also objects of greater or lesser size. You can use the tool on iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, iPhone 16 as well as on iPads and Macs equipped with an M1 chip (and later models). Do you regularly use Correction to give an original appearance to your photos on iPhone, iPad or Mac? Or do you find this Apple Intelligence function rather anecdotal? Tell us in the comments.
