Apple must deliver iOS 26.2 to the general public in just a few weeks, the opportunity to discover new features on its iPhone. For several days we have been able to test a developers version of iOS 26.2, still under construction, and here are the features that caught our eye.
Reminders: so you never miss them again
With this update during the year, the objective for Apple is not to reinvent the way we use an iPhone, but rather to optimize it. On this point, the Cupertino company has done very well by adding something new to its application Reminders.
With iOS 26.2 it is possible to set an alarm linked to a reminder. Let me give you an example. The ticket office for your favorite artist’s concert opens at 10 a.m. sharp. You can create a reminder on your iPhone and add an alarm to it.

At 9:55 a.m. it will ring, to alert you of the fateful hour. A much less discreet solution than a small notification, but which makes the reminder unmissable.
Flashing notifications
Another very appreciable change in iOS 26.2 is the possibility of making your notifications more visual. For years, Apple has offered in its accessibility features the ability to turn on the phone’s flash when receiving a notification.
Lovers of this option will love the sequel. With iOS 26.2, you will be able to do the same with the screen of your iPhone. When receiving a notification, it will start flashing to visually alert you.
Apple Podcasts opens up to AI
Last feature we wanted to talk to you about in this article, it concerns the native Apple Podcasts application.
The Apple service is transformed with iOS 26.2. Apple integrates features linked to AI such as automatic chaptering of episodes or the possibility of linking content together.
