Apple is refining the development of its iPhone 17 Pro, which is due to be presented in September. According to the latest rumors, it could arrive with a new color, and daring to say the least. Apple has in fact planned to launch its iPhone 17 Pro in orange shades.
But for the informant known as “Instant Digital”, the Cupertino company would not limit itself to that. Indeed, a “special color” is reportedly being tested. He assures that this shade of white could change color depending on the brightness.
Although he specifies that he has not seen this color with his eyes, he affirms that it would be in line with “Liquid Glass” the new graphic interface offered by Apple on its devices with the arrival of iOS 26. The Apple brand is banking on renderings imitating glass with a lot of transparency and translucency.

While the 2025 edition of WWDC offered us many changes, particularly in terms of design, Apple could do the same with its iPhone 17. The Cupertino company intends to ride on the arrival of Liquid Glass with its new iPhones.

According to several persistent rumors, Apple has chosen to redesign the back of its smartphone to integrate the photo block into a horizontal bar crossing the phone. This new design would be similar to that already used by Google for its Pixel smartphones.
Other changes could be made by Apple this year, particularly in terms of the choice of materials. The Cupertino company could abandon titanium in favor of aluminum. She would then (most certainly) use the ecological argument to justify this choice. She has already done this in the past with Apple Watches.
