Apple is expected to release iOS 26.2 in the coming days, with many new features. We have listed you here the 15 new features to test as soon as this update is released. The most important remain the arrival of live translation with compatible AirPods or the possibility of adjusting the intensity of Liquid Glass, on the lock screen and on the icons of the home screen.

The “Reminders” application benefits from a new notification system with an alarm. To never forget anything again.
The user will be able to adjust the intensity level of Liquid Glass on the lock screen clock.
You will need to enter a four-digit PIN to send or receive an AirDrop, putting an end to “wild AirDrops”.
The lyrics of a song will be readable even offline in Apple Music.
The sleep score in the Health application will be evaluated on a new, more demanding scale.
The “Podcasts” application will be able to automatically create chapters in a show using AI.
In “Password”, you can manage information linked to websites for which you have not saved the password.
Live translation is coming to AirPods Pro 3, Pro 2, and AirPods 4 (with noise reduction) in the European Union.
It will be possible to turn on the iPhone screen when receiving a notification.
The Apple News application gets a new, more readable interface. This service is not yet available in France.
The iPhone will be better able to handle security alerts related to natural disasters.
The user will be able to pull mobile games into Apple Games from their size, from heaviest to lightest and vice versa.
It will be possible to deactivate pinned conversations in CarPlay.
In Japan only, iPhone owners will be able to trigger voice assistants other than Siri (Gemini or Alexa) from a long press on the lock button.
Liquid Glass has new settings with a more readable “tinted” appearance.
