An iPhone 16e case compatible with the iPhone 17e?
Apple issued a lengthy press release to introduce the iPhone 17e. The online Apple Store also allows us to discover the product’s technical sheet in more detail. The iPhone 16e and the iPhone 17e are identical in design. They both measure 146.7 millimeters high, 71.5 millimeters wide and 7.8 millimeters thick. We find the same location for the rear camera as well as the volume, power and action buttons.
The only difference to note is in terms of weight: the iPhone 17e weighs three grams more than the iPhone 16e. We can therefore affirm without getting too wet that a iPhone 16e case is perfectly compatible with iPhone 17e. Remember, however, that the new smartphone from the Cupertino company supports MagSafe technology, unlike the previous model.
You must therefore obtain one of the new cases offered by Apple to take advantage of it. There are six different colors of silicone cases for the iPhone 17e : black, maritime blue, slate green, vanilla, guava pink and pastel pink. Apple also offers a transparent version. The selling price of a hull is set at €59.
Remember that you will be able to pre-order the iPhone 17e from Wednesday March 4 at 3:15 p.m. The official release is scheduled for Wednesday March 11.
