Apple released five iPhones to the market this year. We were treated to four devices at the start of September, namely the iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. The Apple brand did not forget to satisfy consumers on the lowest budget with the iPhone 16e last February.
There will probably be one less smartphone to get your teeth into in 2026. Apple reportedly intends to market four iPhones during the next financial year.
iPhone 17e
The first iPhone to reach us should be the iPhone 17e. It would replace the 16th in the first weeks of the year. The iPhone 17e would have a thinner design and would feature an A19 chip, a Center Stage front camera and Dynamic Island. We can expect a starting price equivalent to that of the iPhone 16e, or €719.

iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max
Apple will not ignore its popular high-end models in September 2026. The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max will be upgraded thanks to the A20 Pro chip manufactured in 2nm. Face ID could be found under the screen for the first time, significantly reducing the size of Dynamic Island.
Apple would also integrate a C2 modem for 5G even more energy efficient. A larger battery would improve the autonomy of both devices. The Apple brand should keep a design close to this year’s Pros, including this famous horizontal photo module.

iPhone Ultra (folding iPhone)
The star of 2026 at Apple will undoubtedly be the folding iPhone. The Cupertino company should finally set foot on this thriving market with a smartphone in book format in September 2026. The interior screen will measure approximately 7.6 incheswhile the outer screen will measure around 5.4 inches.
Apple has reportedly developed innovative technology so that no creases form on the screen provided by Samsung Display. The smartphone, which would be called the iPhone Ultra, would have nothing to envy of the Pro in terms of power since we would find the A20 Pro chip. The folding iPhone should cost more than €2,000 when it is released.
What about the iPhone 18?
Remember that Apple has chosen to postpone the release of the standard version of the iPhone 18 until spring 2027. A joint launch with the iPhone 18e and the iPhone Air 2 is possible.
