Apple is due to present its iPhone 17 as well as its Pro version next September. The smartphone, with a new design, is due to arrive in a few weeks and many rumors have already circulated about it on the web. Several of them suggest thatApple will launch a brand new display this year.
As early as March, we heard rumors about the protective glass (which covers the screen itself). Several experts then said that Apple would use a more robust solution. It had to be more resistant to scratches and be less reflective.
Divergent opinions
Less than a month after this first announcement, other sources close to the apple brand predicted the opposite. They argued that Apple had indeed produced prototypes with this solution, but this glass would ultimately not have been chosen by the Cupertino company.
Finally, a few days ago, a source returned to the charge on this same subject. She assured MacRumors that the more durable screen would be a reality this year. At least, she clarified that part of the iPhone 17 range should be entitled to it. Without stating it, it implies here that only the Pro and Pro Max models should benefit from it.

Who to trust?
Faced with these three rumors, going in all directions, difficult for the public to get a clear idea of the next iPhone 17. Apple will eventually lift the veil during the month of September, but in the meantime we would tend to give more credence to the most recent rumors.
In Apple’s history, it’s often those who speak last who have the most reliable information. This does not mean that this famous screen will necessarily arrive this year, but the fact that the idea was discussed, then denied, before returning to the forefront gives us confidence.
